If a worker is using a controlled product, they must list it on their FLHA with the applicable controls listed.

Subcontractors must also have SDS's available for their controlled products.

The Safety Manual

The Safety Manual outlines the health and safety expectations, procedures, and standards that all workers must follow while performing their duties.

Every worker must know where the manual is located and be familiar with the sections that apply to their tasks and work environment. If you are unsure about a procedure or requirement, you are expected to consult the Safety Manual or ask your supervisor before continuing with the job.

Tailgate Meetings

Morning tailgate meetings are a required part of the workday, and all workers must arrive early enough to be signed in and ready before the meeting begins. Make sure you sign out at the end of your shift.

Make sure you are fit for duty before starting your shift and if you are not, tell your supervisor.

These meetings give everyone a clear understanding of the tasks planned for the day, the hazards that may be present, and the controls that must be in place to keep the crew safe.

This is also the time to speak up about any concerns, changes, or issues so they can be addressed before work starts and the entire team can begin the day aligned and informed.

These rules protect you and your coworkers. Failure to follow them may result in removal from site.
